At the end of November, I gave a public talk and lead a teacher training at the University of South Florida. Mark Greenberg has done a great job with USF’s Center for Holocaust & Genocide Studies, and I really enjoyed meeting the folks there and talking about issues of common concern. My only regret is that now my lack of German is immortalized. I meant to double check the pronunciation of Stolperstine with my German-speaking husband, but in the rush to get to Florida, I forgot. That’s the last time I’ll make that mistake!
